Last Day of 2 Garnet 2012

Sadly, yesterday was the last day of school and the Last day of 2 Garnet. We were all really sad because we will be separated next year due to the different subjects we took.

I arrived at school early in the morning, me, Alex and Zhiying went down to the admin to borrow the projector, but no one was there so we went up. My classmates began to come in to class with all the delicious food :D Pui Shee brought nuggets and french fries, Chee How and Kheng Yue brought sausages, Chiao You brought muffins and junkfood, Yiting brought meehoon, John and Alex bought Pizzas, Emily brought Pasta, Lionel brought curry puffs, the others brought junkfood and sweets (including me) The real class party starts at 1.45.

The first class was BM, it was the last day of school and for crying out loud, WHO WANTS TO STUDY?! Our BM teacher said we need to study but no one listened when teacher was talking. Then JY suggested we play musical chairs, our teacher agreed and we pushed all our tables behind, leaving the chairs.

BM class was soon over, Bio class is next. JY, Lionel and Joesph managed to borrow the projector, speakers, multiple plugs etc. we continued watching a some-what documentary about insects. It lasted for 1 and a half hours, soon it was lunch then PARTEY TIME~

We went down to the cafeteria, wondering what will it be for today? It was Pasta with lamb meat. 8) nice eh? IT WAS. Unfortunately, all of us were full after our delicious lunch. We went up and set up the tables. We even have a "bartender" serving soft drink instead of wines. Sadly, I didn't managed to take the photos of our class and the food. As soon as the food were set up, everyone started eating. I was so full! But the food tempted me, so I took a little Pasta, 2 nuggets and 3 sausages. I'm fat. Then we watched The Grudge 3.

I'm hate horror movies. The Grudge 3 is freaking scary, and I brought my pillow to school 8) I was hugging my pillow the whole way through, thank god that my friends were surrounding me. But I hate the fact that Hin Yao and Dylan kept on scaring from the back and Yune-Wen scaring me from the side. -.- But we all screamed together as a class.

But it was more than the last day of school, we had gotten our report cards and were told if we were skipping form 3. I skipped! ;)

Then it was saying goodbye time. I'll be honest here. I cried. Emily and Chiao You cried, then I Fifi hugged me and say I'm gonna miss you then I lost it. I cried, real bad. We took pictures together... :) and photos of our friends

One by one, we left, me, Kheng Yue, Fifi and Alex were the last. That, is the last day of 2 Garnet of 2012. We weren't that united like last year, we had arguments, disagreement, some unhappy moments. But we managed to pull it through as a class. I love every single one of them. I hope I will work with them in the future. I am proud to be one of 2 Garnet. 

The Night of Drama

The 4th of August was our annual drama theater showcase. Featuring the Form 2s and Form 5s. Yep, all those rehearsals are for that day, where all of our friends and families came to watch us perform. I was looking forward to it! Well of course! My group auditioned for the slot in theater showcase and we succeeded! Teacher Erica and her sister, Teacher Grace told us that theater showcase will be held  on August 4th, at Wisma Bentley Music, Mutiara Damansara.... 

We were to arrive there at 12. Gillian carpooled with me, I got a picture of the venue in my mind, Gillian wanted to surprise herself. We left at 11.15 and arrived at 12. You know the traffic there. My mum gave me a hug before we went up to the 4th floor. I was freaking out throughout the whole journey, because this time, my mum and her friend were going to watch me. Me and Gillian went in. First thing that came into my mind..... WHOA! SHIT! WHOA! We're gonna die! ARGH! Yiting, Emily and Sarah were already there. And of course, Teacher Erica, Teacher Grace, Teacher Bernie and The backstage,stage crew.... and the tech crew and other crews.... You get what I mean. The auditorium looks grand! Seriously, the chairs the carpet, the stage, the curtains at the back, the walls, the lighting!

Most of our friend came by 1.30. Joseph's group, Kheng Yue's group, my group was early. The crew was setting up the stage when we get there, they needed lots of time. Sound effects, props, stage managing, lights. They were busy. THEY not US. Us? We were sitting up at the back row, chilling. #likeaboss 

It was already 2, Teacher Erica made some announcement, much more like general rules actually. Then we started our cue-to-cue rehearsals, which means with sound effects, full-dress... I think that what it means. The first 3 group need to be at backstage before the doors open. Which means, my group, Gillian's group and Ashley's group. Unlike last year, we don't have to shout at the top of our lungs anymore, because this year, they provided us with head-piece microphones! :DD was head-piece or head-set.... ANYWAYS, Teacher Grace was the host, she, too, practiced her speech, to make the whole rehearsal looked real. It was, despite the fact that there were more empty seats than students and teachers. The crew helped my group, me, Yiting, Chee How and Dody with the microphones. I was really nervous, eventhough it was just rehearsal, I never used this microphones and the stage is tall and wide. But I must say that the stage was smaller compared to last year's season 2 theater showcase. 

I started to get used to the stage after my first line, then I calmed myself down. There, easy. Our play was only 2 minutes, same goes to other plays. We were done, we thought we did a great job. As time passed, it was the Form 5s to practice. Me and my fellow friends just sat back and enjoy the other plays. The form 5s were awesome!!! We loved them all! But after one of their plays, Teacher Erica said to everyone that our energy was very low, the pacing was slow, she said especially the form 2s, which was us. That time, our heart sank, damn it! Teacher asked us to go out the auditorium and practiced at the foyer. We all went out with dissapointment, and we had our snack. Sandwich, it was simple but nice! After that, I nudged my group to practice. It was quite some time, so we all went in. Surprisingly, it was the last rehearsal, I mean it was the last performance, the closing performance. Boy, it was funny!

It was 5pm. 3 more hours to showtime. *gasp* No big deal. The sun was setting... with the scenery of construction site... visual pollution much? Sorry, I just learnt visual pollution. After that, we chilled and had our dinner at 6. It was okay, rice, potatoes the usual. My appetite was bad to be honest, probably because I was nervous. After dinner we relaxed ourselves, meditate or whatever much more like a free-time. Where the form 5s were in the hall discussing with Teacher Erica, WE were chilling. OKAY, this is getting boring. Lemme just skip to 40 minutes approximately before the show starts. okay? ok.

40 Minutes before the show starts. Teacher Erica called us ALL in to the hall. Shut the doors. Just the whole drama group and the teachers, Teacher Erica, Grace, Kai Yuan and Cher Bernie. We all did vocal warm ups because some of our pronouncation during the practice was.. not accurate. We did humming, where everyone hums at the same time. We also bit our thumb and say 3 lines from our play. Slowly and accurately. It was hard, you wouldn't know if you try it. We also introduced ourselves to everyone. Yes, one by one. It actually took some times. And we had a good laugh at some of the drama students and the teachers. :D It was ALMOST time, Teacher saved us the last 4 rows of seat for us to sit back and watched the rest of the show after we performed. As we rehearsed, the first four groups went backstage.  My group brought all the props we needed along with us to backstage. Then the crew equipped us with the head-set microphones. And so we awaited... for the crowd to fill up the empty seats. Me, Bryan, Yiting, Dody and Emily and Joseph kept on peeking through the curtains. We saw some of the teachers, Teacher May Peng was there and so is Teacher Navanee and Teacher Chris/Andy *there're twins* 

The show was delayed 30 minutes, when suddenly we heard Teacher Grace spoke through the microphone: Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls welcome to our annual theater showcase! *the crowd cheers* At that very moment, all of us at backstage were freaking out. My group prepared to go up the stage. It was only a while when Teacher Grace announced that our group will be welcomed on stage. We did not speak, as the microphones were switched on. And so, we went out and give out all we got.

It was only 2 minutes, and my group got off the stage. I wished the other groups good luck and head straight out the backstage door. I high-fived with my group members and joyfully skipped back to the hall. YES! This is the advantage of performing first, you get to sit back and relax the rest of the show. Oh yeah. I heard my mum's camera's shutter sound when I was up on stage. GOSH! I was really happy and high :D With the joy, I watched the rest of the show.

I will never ever forget the night when I perform in a grand hall* eventhough I performed last year* ** The hall is GRAND to me** the night that make me laugh, the night that show me what drama is. The night of drama. 

BM DAY

10th of July was our school's annual BM day. We had to dress differently on the day... There were choices, dress up with traditional clothes or modern/formal. I mean seriously, who has baju kurung?? Well, except for Malays that is. So we decided that as a class, we would dress up formally. Girls wear dresses, boys wear.... formal, with the tie and coat and yeah. That day was similar to theme day.


We decided to sing a song to start! At first, it was Rasa Sayang, the most popular malaysian childhood song, but we realised that it is a very common song and there is also a high chance that other class MAY be singing it. So we changed our song to 1 Malaysia.

We thought that it would be boring to just stand up there and sing, so we decided as a class, we would form a "v" shape and throw paper planes with BM encouraging writings in it. :DD The song is really nice, Gillian said that We were being so patriotic XD 


We splited ourselves into 2 groups, one would do singing, the other would do art and design, I was doing singing, my art skills suck! I didn't take my lunch that day, I figured that I was not hungry and my friends could use some help on painting the flags of Malaysia, so I helped out. It was almost time, me and my friends struggled to find a vacant toilet for us to change, I found one! What a miracle! I got dressed up and went in class for last minute preparation, when it was time, we each hold a paper plane to throw at the audience sometime during our presentation. Me? I just went along with the flow.


Lucky Dylan, that's what I called him that day. He was our Representative to class dice to decide what is our number to present to the school. We were very "lucky" we got first so we presented. To be honest with you, me and my friends memorized but forgot the lyrics, what do you expect? Take a picture and keep it in our brain? -.-  It took like a few hours for the activity to finish, including the wau creating. Our wau suck. You wouldn't want to see it. Thrust me.


Oh yeah, after that,each teacher has to pick 6 students to dance with them. First round was Cher Navanee and Cher CJ, Fifi got picked by Teacher Navanee. She was out there.... ALL ALONE... how scary. @.@ Second round was Teacher May Peng and Teacher Cheong Ho, teacher May Peng walk towards our class and "scan" and picked Dylan. I was relived until Teacher Cheong Ho, our maths teacher, came and pointed at me. He chose me! He freaking chose me! I went out with Dylan and Lionel. Then Gillian came along. I was not alone :D It was the most awkwardest moment ever. UGH!

Woohoo! I had just finished my test yesterday and as I promised I will update my blog more often as I am very free now. I'm gonna read my LOTR book, I haven't read it for like a month! >< And other things..... so i will be writing my new update.... starting now....

PTD 2012 part 1

Hey guys, I managed to squeeze in some times to write blog today. Last Sunday was our school's Parent Teacher Day, where the parents and teachers meet and talk about the child's performance. My dad went overseas, so my mum went with ME. O.O I thought it's gonna be awkward, because when the teachers say things like oh your daughter is very playful in class or anything else... and you're just sitting right there. But fortunately, Zhiying and Emily and of course some of my classmates went along with their parents too. 


We reached school at 9.30... fast forward.... ... ... .. .. ... After the briefing with Teacher Kim, we went down from 4th floor to 2nd floor. My mum wanted to see Teacher Chung Han, my ICT teacher, because I mentioned a lot about him to my mum and my mum was curious. The first teacher we saw was Teacher May Peng, my Physics teacher. BEST COMMENT EVER?! Zhiying and her mum went first. Oh before that, be4 we meet with the teachers, we need to "register" for our turn. When my mum wrote, I saw Yune-Wen's name yadayadayada 9.10pm when I checked, it was actually 9.40. I thought wow you were REALLY early. XD So me and my mum waited for our turns. When we it was our turn. OMG here comes to the greater part of the day (yes, it started in the beginning :) ) I loved Teacher May Peng. She said that I was a sweet girl and I had no problem on catching up and focusing in class. My GENIUS mum, went and ruined the mood by asking "So is she focusing in class? Is her concentration good? How is she in class?"  She's practically trying to state out that I never pay attention in class.....etc. Teacher May Peng started the day off good. 


The next teacher on the list was Teacher Veno, my English teacher. I was a little worried about it because according to my MUM, -.- I speak bad English at home and she often had to correct me. Unfortunately for us, a lot of parents and their children were all waiting for Teacher Veno. My mum hates waiting. Her mind was thinking about Sunway -.-. So we went down and see what other available teachers first. Well, Teacher Erica was available, my drama teacher. My mum went and talked to her. Teacher Erica said that I was very active and presented well on my monologue. I was nervous at first but I managed to pull it off. And once again my MUM said that when I was a child, I was really timid and quiet. Teacher Erica said "Oh no, that's not how I see it." She also said that I changed a lot, compared to last year. Yay me! :D So that's pretty much about it...


We were wondering was it our turn yet with Teacher Veno. It was! After 20 minutes of waiting, that is. So we sat down, Teacher Veno is both my History and English teacher. Teacher Veno said that I scored the highest in class in History. 96/100! :D I'm still happy about it, eventhough yw has the same score.. as me.... ANYWAYS, my mum came to English and said that I spoke really bad English at home. But teacher said that I speak good English in front of her. I was secretly giving a thumbs-up under the table, all the way through! Teacher also noted that I was reading Lord of the Rings that is 1000 pages thick. She mentioned that eventhough my test result for English was not that good ( I got 76. ) BUT *there's always a BUT, good and bad* essay writing were good and improving. I gave a smile and a thumbs-up. teehee. My mum, keep stating out that my grammar was bad yadayadaydada. I was thinking: Ugh! Stop! >< Teacher told my mum to wait, if I continue on reading like this, she could see improvement. And so it ended like that. I think I should just cut it short, because they were a lot of teachers.


Teacher Chung Han and Teacher Cheong Ho, my maths teacher, was next. Funny how their names are alike XD The next class was Teacher Bernie, it was packed, I swear, PACKED with parents. She's like some kind of famous teacher here.

If you don't understand what's this. Here. Before the holidays, Teacher Veno gave us History homework: draw a timeline, it has to be creative! I needed inspiration, my bottle has a printing of a tree. So I thought of drawing a tree, but I realized there was not much space for me to draw 21 slots. So instead, I drew Jack and the Beanstalk. I spent 2 hours working on ze masterpiece.




First, I used pencil as my draft, then I started to put in some colors. Blue for the cloud, green and dark green for both leafs and stem. And I touched up the words with black Stabilo pens. And added a few details and finishing touches. And voila! It's done! Teacher said it would be nice if I drew the giant on the cloud. 


And so we spent the 1 hour laughing and me being proud of myself :'). Just joking. But I must admit.....

English Mime

So, this blog is gonna suck, just to let you all know. I posted that My blog was on google on facebook *a long time ago* ** not that long though ** ***I mean it's this year*** ****you get what i mean**** So my friend yune wen, ask what is it. And I just said just type my name. So I dunno whether is he reading this.... IF you are...so.....  er. Hi. See ya in school. 


Get to the REAL topic. You all know what mime is right? Well, if you don't, don't worry I'll tell you, mime is when you  go look it up on the dictionary. Ok, ok, it's when you just act without saying anything. You know, Mr.Bean animated series when he is walking in the park and this guy dress in black and white and had a flower on his head mime him. That's mime. 

See?? -.- So one day our English teacher wrote on the whiteboard: Mime: 1....2....3...4....5.. 1,2,3,4,5 was the scenarios. We were to do it in pairs. Each scenarios will have 2 group. Lucky for us, we get to pick who we want to group with. Me and Kheng Yue exchanged glances. If you know what I mean.... ok. So this is what I remembered...

1. A drunk barber trying to cut a "barbee" *customer according to phua chu kang*
2. Driving a car while trying to avoid a collision.
3. A waiter carrying a tray of champagne bottles while walking over a slippery floor.
4. 2 people in a restaurant, something happened.
5. A knight fighting a dragon.


Guess what me and Kheng Yue picked???? No, it's number 2. -.- u suck. jk. So we somehow "used" the idea of Mr.Bean *again*. The series when he is late for the dentists and he dressed up when driving XD Come on people, have u watch Mr.bean?? Ugh...

Ours were similar to this series, we're not copying! Don't use that word, it's so.... so.... after 5 days... so... bad. ya bad. So Kheng Yue was the one "driving". The whole play went like this.... flashback


Ky was sleeping, she didn't noticed that we were late for meeting. I knocked on her door a few times, louder and louder.... and I banged the door *not really* so I rushed in and wake her up. I couldn't get her up and so I slapped her. Right in the face! Oh I enjoyed that. It was a fake slap, duh! So she woke up and I once more reminded her we were late. Without knowing, she pushed me by a side and I tumbled. So she got her things ready and get out, while I'm just slowly squeezing her toothpaste thinking that she'll get ready at home. But no, she pull me in the car, still holding the toothbrush. I was puzzled, wondering: Is she going to work in that outfit? Cause' if she is, I'm gonna have a sweet time laughing. Still we might make it on time, when she started the car, I relaxed. When suddenly, she started to snatch the toothbrush in my hand and started to brush her teeth. Haha you should have seen my face, I was hilar.... just jk. I show her my face...the what-the-hell-are-you-doing face, so I was thinking You can't drive like that! You could have get us killed! So I took over the steering wheel. But ky pushed me away and she spit the toothpaste on me. EW! And then she started to take out her pj and changed into formal clothes. And i gave her the face.. AGAIN. And what's better than her moving to the back seat taking off her pants?? -.-... I couldn't take it anymore, so I pushed her to the passenger's seat and I took over the steering wheel. Finally. When she's done she gave me the dude-this-is-my-place face. And I gave her the sup-i'm-driving face. And we eventually had a girl fight. actually me. 


We didn't noticed we went off road and were going to crashed into a truck. So we quickly steer our way back. *sigh* and we continue fighting. *Remember this is a mime* Ky stop the fight and she pushed me back to my place once more. And Ky drive. I was thinking, what could possibly happen? I mean, Ky's done with changing. A slight movement was right beside me. She pulled down the mirror and looked at her face and gave the omg-my-face-is-terrible look. And she started to apply lipstick. Believe me, it gets better :D I snatched her lipstick and broke it and threw it out the window. #likeaboss. And so it started again.... du du du and we crashed. And die :D


The End :D It was kinda weird and embarrassing. My ears were red. So that's kinda the end of this blog. Oh and I decided to post some random videos on every blog. Those that it's nice, funny, obsess with. So this is today's....
