Monopoly - Disney Edition

I love board games since i was a little girl, i am also a true fan of Disney. A fairytale land.

Among all the board game I have, the Monopoly (which is a must for every household) is the most valuable set simply because it's the Disney edition. I got this for my birthday present because it caught my eyes when i was shopping on Christmas Eve. It's very nicely made with very high quality luminous print. The object and the game rules are the same as the standard set.
The Title Deeds are all in the name of Disney films but the values are the same as the standard set. Pinocchio, Aladdin, Bambi, Dumbo just to name a few. Scrooge McDuck's Tax has replaced the standard Income Tax and Price John's Tax has replaced the Luxury Tax. In place of the traditional railroads, this edition uses 4 modes of Disney transportation is the Albatross from The Rescuers, Captain Hook's pirate ship from Peter Pan, the pumpkin from Cinderella and Cruella de Vil's car from 101 Dalmatians. The 2 utilities are now special powers, Magic Wand and Pixie Dust.

The character movers are made of metal and they are very solid and beautiful.

From left to right: The Sleeping Beauty, Aurora, Snow White, Alice in the Wonderland and Pinocchio
Magic moments cards and Show Time cards replace the classic Community Chest and Chance cards. The standard Monopoly dollars are now in Disney dollars.

The houses have been replaced with the White Rabbit's Cottage and the hotels have been replaced with Sleeping Beauty's Castle.

I have my mother to thank for, again for this wonderful present and precious moments we spent to play with our Monopoly Disney Edition.
