PTD 2012 part 1

Hey guys, I managed to squeeze in some times to write blog today. Last Sunday was our school's Parent Teacher Day, where the parents and teachers meet and talk about the child's performance. My dad went overseas, so my mum went with ME. O.O I thought it's gonna be awkward, because when the teachers say things like oh your daughter is very playful in class or anything else... and you're just sitting right there. But fortunately, Zhiying and Emily and of course some of my classmates went along with their parents too. 


We reached school at 9.30... fast forward.... ... ... .. .. ... After the briefing with Teacher Kim, we went down from 4th floor to 2nd floor. My mum wanted to see Teacher Chung Han, my ICT teacher, because I mentioned a lot about him to my mum and my mum was curious. The first teacher we saw was Teacher May Peng, my Physics teacher. BEST COMMENT EVER?! Zhiying and her mum went first. Oh before that, be4 we meet with the teachers, we need to "register" for our turn. When my mum wrote, I saw Yune-Wen's name yadayadayada 9.10pm when I checked, it was actually 9.40. I thought wow you were REALLY early. XD So me and my mum waited for our turns. When we it was our turn. OMG here comes to the greater part of the day (yes, it started in the beginning :) ) I loved Teacher May Peng. She said that I was a sweet girl and I had no problem on catching up and focusing in class. My GENIUS mum, went and ruined the mood by asking "So is she focusing in class? Is her concentration good? How is she in class?"  She's practically trying to state out that I never pay attention in class.....etc. Teacher May Peng started the day off good. 


The next teacher on the list was Teacher Veno, my English teacher. I was a little worried about it because according to my MUM, -.- I speak bad English at home and she often had to correct me. Unfortunately for us, a lot of parents and their children were all waiting for Teacher Veno. My mum hates waiting. Her mind was thinking about Sunway -.-. So we went down and see what other available teachers first. Well, Teacher Erica was available, my drama teacher. My mum went and talked to her. Teacher Erica said that I was very active and presented well on my monologue. I was nervous at first but I managed to pull it off. And once again my MUM said that when I was a child, I was really timid and quiet. Teacher Erica said "Oh no, that's not how I see it." She also said that I changed a lot, compared to last year. Yay me! :D So that's pretty much about it...


We were wondering was it our turn yet with Teacher Veno. It was! After 20 minutes of waiting, that is. So we sat down, Teacher Veno is both my History and English teacher. Teacher Veno said that I scored the highest in class in History. 96/100! :D I'm still happy about it, eventhough yw has the same score.. as me.... ANYWAYS, my mum came to English and said that I spoke really bad English at home. But teacher said that I speak good English in front of her. I was secretly giving a thumbs-up under the table, all the way through! Teacher also noted that I was reading Lord of the Rings that is 1000 pages thick. She mentioned that eventhough my test result for English was not that good ( I got 76. ) BUT *there's always a BUT, good and bad* essay writing were good and improving. I gave a smile and a thumbs-up. teehee. My mum, keep stating out that my grammar was bad yadayadaydada. I was thinking: Ugh! Stop! >< Teacher told my mum to wait, if I continue on reading like this, she could see improvement. And so it ended like that. I think I should just cut it short, because they were a lot of teachers.


Teacher Chung Han and Teacher Cheong Ho, my maths teacher, was next. Funny how their names are alike XD The next class was Teacher Bernie, it was packed, I swear, PACKED with parents. She's like some kind of famous teacher here.

Mother's Day~

It was Mother's day, 2012 . The day that we're supposed to thank our mother for what they've done and still doing for us. Those sacrifices they made for US, hehe....

So, in the morning, I woke up and gratefully wished my lovely mother a very Happy Mother's Day with a sleepy voice. I just woke up okay? So we drove out to eat.... ROTI CANAI!!! The best and cheapest breakfast you'll ever eat :D.  So for mother's day, me and my mum... we spent our morning cleaning the house!!  You might think that this Mother's Day sucked! Well, I gotta admit, in the morning is a bit suckish. So let's just skip to the fun part :D

It is already 4pm. We planned, actually I planned that 3 of us go out to Sunway Pyramid to have a delicious dinner. And my gift for my mum is anything (with a limit of course!) that she wants. And I will be the one paying :) I know, I'm being generous, hahaha . So we reached at Sunway Pyramid at.. let's say....5? My dad dropped us because he needed to go for tennis. We shopped around in the usual shops, MNG, Zara, Esprit, Forever 21, and finally Mum bought a blouse from Padini Concept Store, she wouldn't go for something extravaganza of course!! Well, as promised, I paid with my card and pa had to pay the credit card company .....hehe..

It was about time for dinner, we went to Bubba Gum as planned. Little did we anticipate that it would be so packed, so disappointed. So we had to dine somewhere else. After walking around for a while, we decided to go to The Garden which is also one of our favorite. On the contrary, it was so empty, kesihan lar!! When dad arrived, we ordered our food. I had Lamb Shank with ratatoullie source, Mummy had her all time favorite of salmon with orange source while dad decided he wanted something light, spaggetti. We had wild mushroom soap as starter which wasn't so delicious. My lamb shank was very well done, hmm,  yummy!!

It's complimentary in conjunction with Mother's Day.

After our hearty dinner, we continued to walk around the mall. So this was how we spent our Mother's day. It was nothing and yet something at the same time. It's always the thoughts that counts. PPl always says that if you love your ma, everyday is mother's day. It's true, but for the special day in a year, we should show our appreciation to our dear mother. We can't be showing our appreciation everyday, right??

If you don't understand what's this. Here. Before the holidays, Teacher Veno gave us History homework: draw a timeline, it has to be creative! I needed inspiration, my bottle has a printing of a tree. So I thought of drawing a tree, but I realized there was not much space for me to draw 21 slots. So instead, I drew Jack and the Beanstalk. I spent 2 hours working on ze masterpiece.




First, I used pencil as my draft, then I started to put in some colors. Blue for the cloud, green and dark green for both leafs and stem. And I touched up the words with black Stabilo pens. And added a few details and finishing touches. And voila! It's done! Teacher said it would be nice if I drew the giant on the cloud. 


And so we spent the 1 hour laughing and me being proud of myself :'). Just joking. But I must admit.....

English Mime

So, this blog is gonna suck, just to let you all know. I posted that My blog was on google on facebook *a long time ago* ** not that long though ** ***I mean it's this year*** ****you get what i mean**** So my friend yune wen, ask what is it. And I just said just type my name. So I dunno whether is he reading this.... IF you are...so.....  er. Hi. See ya in school. 


Get to the REAL topic. You all know what mime is right? Well, if you don't, don't worry I'll tell you, mime is when you  go look it up on the dictionary. Ok, ok, it's when you just act without saying anything. You know, Mr.Bean animated series when he is walking in the park and this guy dress in black and white and had a flower on his head mime him. That's mime. 

See?? -.- So one day our English teacher wrote on the whiteboard: Mime: 1....2....3...4....5.. 1,2,3,4,5 was the scenarios. We were to do it in pairs. Each scenarios will have 2 group. Lucky for us, we get to pick who we want to group with. Me and Kheng Yue exchanged glances. If you know what I mean.... ok. So this is what I remembered...

1. A drunk barber trying to cut a "barbee" *customer according to phua chu kang*
2. Driving a car while trying to avoid a collision.
3. A waiter carrying a tray of champagne bottles while walking over a slippery floor.
4. 2 people in a restaurant, something happened.
5. A knight fighting a dragon.


Guess what me and Kheng Yue picked???? No, it's number 2. -.- u suck. jk. So we somehow "used" the idea of Mr.Bean *again*. The series when he is late for the dentists and he dressed up when driving XD Come on people, have u watch Mr.bean?? Ugh...

Ours were similar to this series, we're not copying! Don't use that word, it's so.... so.... after 5 days... so... bad. ya bad. So Kheng Yue was the one "driving". The whole play went like this.... flashback


Ky was sleeping, she didn't noticed that we were late for meeting. I knocked on her door a few times, louder and louder.... and I banged the door *not really* so I rushed in and wake her up. I couldn't get her up and so I slapped her. Right in the face! Oh I enjoyed that. It was a fake slap, duh! So she woke up and I once more reminded her we were late. Without knowing, she pushed me by a side and I tumbled. So she got her things ready and get out, while I'm just slowly squeezing her toothpaste thinking that she'll get ready at home. But no, she pull me in the car, still holding the toothbrush. I was puzzled, wondering: Is she going to work in that outfit? Cause' if she is, I'm gonna have a sweet time laughing. Still we might make it on time, when she started the car, I relaxed. When suddenly, she started to snatch the toothbrush in my hand and started to brush her teeth. Haha you should have seen my face, I was hilar.... just jk. I show her my face...the what-the-hell-are-you-doing face, so I was thinking You can't drive like that! You could have get us killed! So I took over the steering wheel. But ky pushed me away and she spit the toothpaste on me. EW! And then she started to take out her pj and changed into formal clothes. And i gave her the face.. AGAIN. And what's better than her moving to the back seat taking off her pants?? -.-... I couldn't take it anymore, so I pushed her to the passenger's seat and I took over the steering wheel. Finally. When she's done she gave me the dude-this-is-my-place face. And I gave her the sup-i'm-driving face. And we eventually had a girl fight. actually me. 


We didn't noticed we went off road and were going to crashed into a truck. So we quickly steer our way back. *sigh* and we continue fighting. *Remember this is a mime* Ky stop the fight and she pushed me back to my place once more. And Ky drive. I was thinking, what could possibly happen? I mean, Ky's done with changing. A slight movement was right beside me. She pulled down the mirror and looked at her face and gave the omg-my-face-is-terrible look. And she started to apply lipstick. Believe me, it gets better :D I snatched her lipstick and broke it and threw it out the window. #likeaboss. And so it started again.... du du du and we crashed. And die :D


The End :D It was kinda weird and embarrassing. My ears were red. So that's kinda the end of this blog. Oh and I decided to post some random videos on every blog. Those that it's nice, funny, obsess with. So this is today's....

Western Australia Day 5

Today is the last day of our trip. Feeling lost cos i'm sure gonna miss this wonderful place. Clean, organised, well planned city, nice weather........

 

Anyway, after simple breakfast (mine was frozen pasta (pasta for breakfast?) which was yummy) in Bailey's Motel, we walked to the bus stop. Bus rides are free, how nice. Buses in Perth city are very efficient and convenient. In the bus, again, we encountered an aborigine woman shouting and scolding at a white man. It was later in the musuem that we found out why. 

 
We walked to the Kings' Park after we got off somewhere in the city center. Such a big and well kept park but the weather was too hot to spend in the park. From the park, beautiful Perth skyline can be seen clearly with clear blue sky as backdrop, Picture Perfect!!  After that, we were back to the city centre again where we were in the morning. We had a very expensive lunch (in RM) of noodles and rice. Not too sure where to go next, we ended in Western Australia Musuem which is FREE!!! 

 Amazing muzuem with very informative and neat display. Here we learned that the first people in Australia is Kata Jinnung, the aborigines. They migrated from India many many years ago. But they were robbed of their rights and the land, how sad.

Next they have life size animals that looks real, science, education..... and so on. We enjoyed our visit very much.

  

 After the visit, we ended in Hay Street and were window shopping around the area. Well, couldn't bring ourselves to buy when we had to times 3 for every price tag we saw, not even shoppaholic mummy!! We had our dinner at Takka's Restaurant with decent prices, at last!!   We headed back to Bailet's after that with very heavy heart.
With this, our Western Australia trip ended.

Hotspring

It was last Saturday evening..... Mama came to our house as usual. She suggested to go on a outings the next morning. So we searched places in Selangor that we can visit. Unfortunately, according to my mum, we'd been to most of the places before. After that we went out at 2pm reached KL at 2.45. Rounded the "parks area" at 3. We decided to go in to the Planetarium*i think so* centre. I wanted to go in there, cuz it's so nice, cooling, cozy *not really*, and ...air-corn...y. But NO, mummy said no. So we went on..... du du du du du du du du .... we arrived outside Tun Abdul Razak's memorial museum, I said: Hey, it's free wanna go in? My mum gave me this: What? Haven't we gone in there before? Me: -.-. And guess what? We didn't go in. There were tourists on the pathway. It was already 4. And you might be thinking how is this related to my tittle? This is just the beginning kay? Patience. It was 4, and we laughed about how we wasted time to figure out where to go. And we never set foot on the road in that 2 hours....3. So lepak here lepak there. And it's already 5. This is getting no where..... and finally we went to Yuen Steamboat for dinner at 6pm to avoid crowd.

We left Yuen's buffet restaurant with our stuffed stomach. And on the way home, mama asked about our destination tomorrow again, suddenly Mummy thought of Sungai Klah Hot Springs. So it was set finally.  

I woke up at 5.30 :) then I slept and woke up at 6.45 XD No, I was not going for boot camp or anything. -.- I was going to Sungai Klah Hotspring, 1.5hrs drive away. They open at 8. We intended to book for a private jacuzzi from 10.30 till 11.30. So we went there early to avoid dissapointment. The previous time we went there, it was crowded and all the Jacuzzi-s were fully booked. So we just massaged our feet and let them felt the heat in the open area.  SO this time we started our journey as early as 7300am and we managed to secure our booking. Also, there was plenty of time for us to soak at the public hot pool and cold pool before the weather got hot. We went to the hot pool first.

   
 There wasn't many people so we went in immediately, it was warm, too warm perhaps. Apparently, the depth is very shallow so I couldn't swim. :/ I could, but my knees would be in the way. So we just soaked there for about 20 minutes. Well, me and mama went IN the pool. Mummy just stayed and soaked her feet and took pictures.  

After that, we went to the cold pool. It was indeed cold.

There was water spraying out fast and hard. So me and mama went under it and had a free cold good massage. 

I was a little scared to go on the slide. So who cares!

The slide was wide and it had water spraying as we went down, it was a short trip down, and water went into my nose, it was so annoying! I went for the 2nd time cuz my mum couldn't capture the photo. 

Apparently, there was another long slide. It was long and it could only fit one person. So me and mama went for it! I saw the other kids slide down, it wasn't that fast..... Not until I tried >:D.

There was also a path of stones. As shown in the picture. When I walked on it, it was painful!!!! But it was a good massage. I wanted to scream so badly. ><


It was about time to go to our Spa now, the purpose of this trip. We got a small pool and a toilet in an enclosed compound all to ourselves with some tropical plants that makes the area a resort feel. I don't remember the water being so hot as I was here when I was about 7 years old. According to the notice on the wall of the hut, we were supposed to enter the pool "gradually" so that we don't get burn. First of all, we lower our feet slowly into the pool, then the legs and eventually the whole body. It felt wonderful with the bubbles strongly beating our body. However, it's not advisable to stay more than 20 mins in the pool. Anyway, we couldn't stay any longer as the temperature of the water was unbearable. It was a relieve once we were out of the water. 

There were steps in the pool, I tripped several times. 

We spent 1 hour in there. 

The place was really nice and garden-y. There were lots of plants and the room is like huts.

We then showered and changed into clean clothes. Next we went to the egg boiling point. We placed the eggs we brought from home in a basket and let it boiled for about 10mins. Then we found a picnic table and sat down to enjoy our hard-boiled eggs with some tic-bits and soft drinks. It was almost lunch time and the crowd was pouring in by now. So it's advisable to come earlier to avoid the crowd and also the heat.

Oh, did I mentioned that this was our lunch?

After our lunch, we decide to go home. Mama said that we should take the "train" they provided for us, visitors because it was a long way back where our car was. When we got there, there wasn't anyone there. So we waited a while, we also managed to scoop up some ice-cream as our desserts. We couldn't wait any longer as the sun was shining. So we took the long way /.\. It was tiring, we took the broadwalk. The broadwalk was nice, we could see the source of the hotsprings. My mum said it came from the ground. 


Phew, it was a really fun day! I get to ride the slide :D and of course the spa. :) If you haven't been there yet, it is located at Sungai Klah, Perak

*Yawnnnnnnnnnn* Hi.... ya, it's boring. Look on the bright side, it's the 2nd week of the holidays :) And I can go back to school, and we..... change.... classes...... o.o. And that's the dark side. Oh yeah, here are some "news" for you about what am I going to do after.. Today :D


I'm going for injection tomorrow. You know, the 3rd dose thingy. It's FOC!
I'm going to play my PS2 game, The Hobbit this Friday! I found it last week with my other games, and for so many years, I didn't know. :) I'm blur.

I was scrolling through my blog and read some of them. And I noticed that those blogs were short and... well.... how do I put this in a word? not-so-interesting-because-I-didn't-write-any-more-information-about-it. It's a word! Just read it really fast 8) And I realized my blogs NOW are.... quite long. Good job Chelsea! I'm so proud of you :') Ehem, anyways, this blog is kinda short because I REALLY have nothing to write. Oh yeah, wait nvm.... so....

Fun day!

Today was a really FUN day, I went to my one of my best friends' house... Emily's house :D  I went there 2 times already XD Did I mention her house is huge *No* So, Kheng Yue told her she can't go because she needs to finish her homework because she's going to Singapore. So her mum don't let her. :< So i reached her house at 10, it was drizzling. We started the day off with some Nigahiga videos. We were laughing our minds off, when suddenly Sarah and Audrey (Emily's sisters) came in and joined us. Well, apparently according to Emily, they usually wake up around 11.30 :) So because of me, she had to wake up super early muahahhahahahahahahaaaa >:D Emily's mum came in and said we could go to Setia City Mall and eat. So we all agreed. We were leaving at 1.30. We got bored of Nigahiga because we watched lots of his funny videos. Oh I'm also a Lord of the Rings fan. Obsessed~ What a coincidence, Emily and Sarah watched the trilogy too. But they're not obsessed with it. ^^ We went to watch LOTR parody. And we found several funny films, like this

Return of the King: This is the part where Saruman died. TROLLL. So after that we were a little late, it's just 30 minutes! And we camwhored with the iMac :D 

Yep, we were crazy. So we went to Setia City Mall and we decided to eat Delicious, trust me, it's a restaurant. So I insisted I pay them back because the food there is really expensive. 1 Carbonara cost RM22! But their mum say no and Emily was like: OMG seriously no. I keep borrowing u money in school! *I know Emily's reading this, Hi Emily!!!* So while we were waiting for the food to serve us, her mum told us we could go to "lepak" around. So we did, we round the whole entire floor, and we went up the ..... wait, oh ya, we passed by Secret Recipe and we saw Celene (A girl in form 3) ((Trust me, you wouldn't wanna know her)) with her budd....ies. I was like starring at them, and I told Emily: Emily, isn't that Celene??? And she goes: OMG! Not even a single day that we won't see her. I mean come on, it's the holiday! OMG she lives here?? What?? Excuse me, but I own the place! Me and Sarah was laughing. So we went up the escalator. And Emily brought her camera with her so she can snap a few pics on the way, we went up and saw Nichii.

I was a little exaggerating when I went into the mall. I was like: WHOA! Zara! Whoa Esprit! Whoaaa Chatime ! Whoa this whoa that :) So I said: Whoa Nichii. It was half close, I look closely and noticed that the mannequins were naked. Me and Sarah's eyeball popped out. Emily said: Hey, Let's take a picture in front of Nichii! Me and Sarah declined, No! Dude no! Just look! And Emily looked and we had a great laughed about it. We saw Typo and we went inside. Emily's mum called us and said our food is served. So we rushed down (not REALLY) 

Tell me you want that >< It was superb! Fantabulous ! A masterpiece! But.. the portion was really big. I ALMOST finished it. I was full. My stomach was a big round ball :D So, Emily's mum need to send 8 year-old Audrey to tuition nearby, so she let us shop for a while and we meet up with her mum when she's done. Sarah went all crazy and started to take videos of us.... walking! -.-lll :) we went to Petsmore. We were all crazy when we looked at those adorable puppies!!!! I saw one miniature poodle it costs RM 1000++. So, moving on... the puppies were so adorable! Oh, and we get to touch a siberian husky! Its fur is so soft!!!! Its so fluffy i'm gonna dieeeeeeee. But it hurts when i looked at the price..... RM8190. @.@ ouch! So we thought that it was almost time so we called Emily's mum. We were in front of Triumph :) Sarah insisted we take a picture in front of Triumph. No, we did not in case you're wondering -.-   

It was a long way back to Subang, Emily's mum dropped us off at Taipan, YoFresh. It is and amazing bubble tea shop. It's awezum. I ordered Brown Rice Milk Tea, Sarah went with Pudding Splash Milk, Emily's was Roasted Milk Tea. I was telling Emily too try Roasted Milk for ages! Until this day. :) It was a total of 18.90, with gov. tax and toppings and my large size cup. We were waiting for our drinks to be serves when my dad came in, he said he will be the one paying for all our three drinks. But then again, they said: No need la uncle... blablabla. At the end, they kept the money $$ When we got our drinks, we went back to my home, we hang out in my room, and made several videos of us "singing". Much more like lip-singing to Call Me Maybe/Payphone pfft. OH, and Emily camwhored a lot in my iPad -.-lll

They went back a little while later. So we said: Till we meet again! And that's it. It was a really fun day. Oh I know Emily and Sarah are reading this so.... i hate u. :)
